AdminManager enables you to perform the following tasks for a SubStation that is connected to AppManager and has an active SubStation App subscription:
- View information for SubStations. Refer to Viewing SubStation Information.
- Add the SubStation to AppManager – When your SubStation connects to the AppManager server for the first time, you will get an authorization PIN that enables you to add the SubStation to AppManager. Refer to Adding a SubStation to AppManager.
- Add a BaseStation 3200 irrigation controller to a SubStation – You can add SubStation 3200 irrigation controllers that are connected to BaseManager to the SubStation. Refer to Adding a BaseStation 3200 Controller to a SubStation.
- Update the SubStation’s description – You can change the SubStation’s description to make it easy to identify. Refer to Updating the SubStation Description.
- Update the geographical information associated with a SubStation – Make sure the location information is accurate for your SubStation. Refer to Updating the Geographical Information for the SubStation.
- Update the firmware on the SubStation – When a SubStation is connected to the AppManager server, the firmware version on the SubStation is compared to the version on the server. If a newer firmware version is available, you can update the SubStation from AdminManager. Refer to Updating the SubStation Firmware.
- You can backup the programming on the SubStation before making any significant programming changes to the device. Refer to Backing-Up SubStation Programming.
- If you would like to go to a prior version of your controller programming you are able to do so while in App Manager. Refer to Restoring SubStation Programming.
- You can download program summaries, monthly event files and alarms. Refer to Downloading Report Files.
- Assign the SubStation to a different site – If you have more than one site under your company, you can change the site that a SubStation is assigned to. Refer to Understanding the Data Hierarchy in BaseManager and Assigning the SubStation to a Different Site.
