You made improvements to your yard and have added new landscaping areas. You now need to add these new stations to your controller so they will be watered along with the rest of your plants.
Adding more valve stations to your controller is done in the SETUP menu.
1. Turn the MAIN knob to SETUP.
2. Turn the Upper Line knob until the SET ACTIVE STATIONS screen displays. In parentheses, you will see the number of stations that are available on your controller (Max Available =).
3. Use the Lower Line knob to set the maximum active stations to correspond to the actual number of valves that are wired to your controller.
4. To finish, turn the MAIN knob back to RUN.
Note
There is a separate master valve terminal on the output board of the controller. You do not need to count the master valve as an active station. Do not set the number of valve stations higher than the actual number of valves that you are using. This will add unnecessary time to the irrigation window and may cause unnecessary water window alerts. If you set the number of valve stations lower than the actual number of valves you are using, you will prevent some of the valves from operating at all.
