    BaseManager Connect Error

     

     

    Priority: Medium

     

    Definition: When the controller is unable to connect to the BaseManager Server

     

    Example:

     

    This occurs mostly when the local communication method for the controller have been lost such as Cell, Ethernet, or Wifi connection have been lost. 

     

    Since the controller has lost access to BaseManager server there is no remote access and no alerts being sent via text messages or email. The controller will still irrigate per its scheduled programming on the controller.

     

    This can also occur for other reasons so if the troubleshooting steps provided do not get the controller connected to the BaseManager server again please contact Hydropoint Support.

     

    Action Needed: This is an alert and action 

     

    Troubleshooting

    -Reboot the controller by powering the controller completely off from the power source; please remember to not touch the ribbon cable to reboot the controller.

    -In the network setting try to reconnect to the BaseManager server

    -Check all connections to make sure everything is connected properly

    -EX: The ethernet cable is plugged in or the antenna is connected tightly

    -If ethernet you may have to contact your local network administrator

     

    If these steps do not connect the controller, please contact Hydropoint Support for further troubleshooting.
