ScheduleManager is an application in AppManager that allows you to view, create, and delete all Programs across all Controllers within your Company. This article will provide an overview of workflows and features available in ScheduleManager.
How to access ScheduleManager:
Locate the Schedule app icon using the app menu bar on the left side of AppManager.
Click on the app icon to open ScheduleManager. When ScheduleManager opens, you will be able to see all of your Baseline Controllers and their associated Programs in a single view. This view will also provide you with immediate context about each Program including the program number, description, status, last program start time, last program stop time, the next program runtime, and the estimate runtime for each program.
If you want to view an existing program, you can click on the program you want to view and a new slideout window will appear. This window will display all parameters for that Program. Currently, you can only view the information for a Program that already exists (i.e. if the Program was created in BaseManager). You cannot edit the Program at this time. That functionality is slated for a later release. The current Program parameters include:
Program Overview details, what Zones are part of the Program, how the Zone concurrency is configured for the Program, the Water Window available to that Program, any Advanced settings that may or may not be configured, and the Baseline Condition Engine which details any Start/Stop/Pause conditions for that Program.
If needed, you can delete a Program by clicking on the “Remove” button in the bottom right of the Program window:
If you want to create a new Program, click on the Add Program bar located on the Program status page.
When you create a new Program, all the same fields are available to you that are in BaseManager including the ability to add whatever Zones you want to add for that Program.
If you click on the “information icon” just to the right of the Zone name, a new window will appear that provides you with all of the Zone details.
This information helps you understand what Zone you are adding the program and helps to ensure that Zone has been configured properly. Currently, you are not able to edit the Zone details in ScheduleManager. That functionality will be available in a later release. You can use the “Devices” tab in BaseManager to edit Zone details.
Zones will default to the same color unless they are Linked to a Primary Zone. When you link a Zone (or Zones) to a Primary Zone, those groups of Zones will be color-coded and visually linked together to help you understand what Zones are linked to a Primary Zone versus Zones that are not linked to a Primary Zone. If there are multiple “Primary Groups” multiple colors will be generated to ensure each segment of Zone type can easily be recognized.
When you have completed filling out each field, you can save the Program using the Save button in the lower right corner. When you save the program it will populate on the Program status page underneath the Controller that manages that Program.
