Common Causes
- Broken or missing sprinkler head.
- Damaged lateral line for the valve.
- Incorrect learned flow.
What Happens Now? From the alert message:
- Zone 13 has been shut down because the controller has identified this zone as a source of high flow and will not water again until message is cleared.
- Flow Variance Threshold (measured in %) is set to allow a 20% variance, bthe controller detected a 25.1%.
- Expected vs. Actual Flow (measured in Gallons per Minute (GPM)) are given. The controller expected a 41 GPM but only measured 51.3 GPM.
Troubleshooting
- Repairing any broken sprinkler heads or damaged lateral line.
- If you suspect a learn flow value is incorrect, re-learn flow for that zone.
- Once the issue is resolved, clear the message to allow irrigation to resume.

- BaseManager → Zone Assignment.
- Controller or through BaseManager Live View → Zone Learn Flow (or Program Learn Flow, if it applies).
- BaseManager Maps and select Learn Flow for individual zones.
