Definition: When the serial assigned to the device is the incorrect serial number

Example:

This alert can appear because the controller doesn’t understand or see the serial number that was assigned to the device. It can also occur if the controller can’t use or test that device. This can sometimes be from replacing a device without un-assigning or restoring a backup that is older with inaccurate field information.

Action Needed: This is an alert and action 

Troubleshooting:

• Perform a search and assign process
• Re-assign the device with the wrong serial number
• Test all two-wire addresses
