    (UU) Unexpected Usage

    OptiFlow Alert

    PDF es:

    Info

An unexpected usage alert is for the OptiFlow controller only.

This alert happens when an OptiFlow controller measures usage that exceeds the advanced leak threshold but does not exceed the evaluation time. It means that when the OptiFlow controller wasn’t expecting any flow, water was turned on then off again before the evaluation time was up.

    Possible Causes:

    • Unplanned usage

    Possible Fixes:

No technical troubleshooting required. The alert will clear on its own.

    • Investigate the source of the measured usage

    • Turn on the Master Valve Override before any known usage occurs. This will avoid an unexpected usage alert

    • Prevent the unauthorized use of a quick coupler or hose bib
