Note: Compatible with 3200S, firmware versions 19.9 and up.
Accessing Zone Event Dates
- Turn the 3200S dial to the Start, Stop, Pause position.
- Press Next or Previous to navigate to Zone Event Dates.
- Press Enter to open the Zone Event Dates menu.
Configuring a Zone Event Date
Set the Event Number
- Each controller supports up to 8 Zone Event Dates. Use the event number to identify which slot you are configuring. With Zone Event Date Number selected, press + or − to choose a number from 1 to 8.
Set the Event Type
The event type determines how the controller handles the selected zones during the event window. See the table below for the difference between the two options.
- Press Next to move to Zone Event Date Type. Press + or − to choose between Stop Watering or Pause Watering.
| Event Type | Expected Behavior |
| Stop Watering | The selected zones skip their irrigation cycle for the duration of the event. The program continues but bypasses those zones. |
| Pause Watering | Non-paused zones in the program run normally. When only paused zones remain, the program enters and holds a paused state. Once the event End Date expires, the program resumes and the paused zones irrigate as normal. |
Set the Begin and End Date/Time
Event dates and times can be set to the hour. The controller will activate the event at the Begin Date/Time and automatically deactivate it at the End Date/Time.
- Press Next to move to the Begin Event Date/Time field.
- Press + or − to set the begin date and hour.
- Press Next to move to the End Event Date/Time field. Press + or − to set the end date and hour.
Select Zones
Below the event number, type, and date fields, the controller displays all 3200S zones in a tile layout — the same format used on the Run screen. Zones are selected individually using this tile view.
- Press Next to move through the zone tiles until the desired zone is highlighted in blue.
- Press + to include the zone in the event or press Next to skip to the next zone.
Note: A zone tile turns green when included in a Stop Watering event, or magenta when included in a Pause Watering event. As you navigate the zone tiles, the zone description and the programs that contain that zone are displayed below the tile grid. Use this information to confirm which program runs will be affected while the event is active.
- To remove a zone already included in a scheduled event date, move through the zone tiles using Next and Previous. With the desired zone tile selected, press the − button.
Removing a Zone Event Date
To clear a Zone Event Date and remove it from the schedule:
- Navigate to the event you want to remove by setting the Zone Event Date Number to the appropriate slot.
- Press Next to move to either Begin Event Date/Time field.
- Hold the − button until the date and time values disappear from both the Begin and End fields. The event is now cleared.
