IMPORTANT!  Please read this entire document!

Lithium Metal Batteries are considered a dangerous good and have very specific requirements dictated by the federal government that all shipping parties must adhere to.  The failure to follow these requirements will result in the revocation of HydroPoint's ability to ship these products with any carrier.  

The following information is applicable to these Products:

• FM200
• FM200 Battery Pack
• FM250
• FM350

What you need to know:

Any WaterCompass product that contains a Lithium Metal Battery MUST be shipped in packaging that contains the labels as shown below.  Please retain the original packaging for items that need to be returned to HydroPoint for any reason.  If you do not have the packaging with these labels, HydroPoint will provide them for you.  Please ask your Professional Services Project Manager to send new packaging to you as needed.

Product Specific Information

FM250 & FM350 Products:

The batteries in these devices cannot be removed, so the labels shown above must ALWAYS be used.  

FM200 Products:

The batteries in FM200 Devices are removable by removing the 4 screws and cutting the zip ties.  If you do not have the labels shown above, you can remove the batteries and ship the unit back without the required labeling.  Only a FedEx label is required, provided by HydroPoint.  Please responsibly dispose of any batteries locally.  Otherwise the required labels MUST be used.
