    Project Overview and Objectives

The objective of this project is to provide the CUSTOMER with a fully functioning flow sensor that is properly installed and commissioned such that HydroPoint can provide the CUSTOMER with leak and flow monitoring services through HydroPoint’s WaterCompass platform.  This includes the proper and complete installation of the FM300 Sensor(s) and the WaterCompass Gateway, and verification of the installation with a complete WaterCompass Installation Inspection Report (WCIR).

    Scope of Work

Upon acceptance of this project, the CONTRACTOR agrees to complete all aspects of the work described in this scope of work and to verify that the installation has been completed according to the specifications and instructions provided by HydroPoint, and according to the timeline outlined herein.  The CONTRACTOR agrees to thoroughly and promptly communicate with the assigned HydroPoint Professional Services Project Manager regarding all aspects of the project.  The project deliverables shall be completed for each phase of the installation and verified by the WCIR.

The phases of the project include Pre-installation, Installation, and Verification.  In each phase the CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to complete the deliverables outlined below.

The CONTRACTOR shall access the CIR Form by going to  www.hydropoint.com/psforms on their mobile device. Click on WaterCompass Installation Report (WCIR) and this will open the link in to Record Information and Remove Existing Controller:

     PHASE 1: Pre-Installation

The CONTRACTOR shall inspect all equipment provided by HydroPoint Professional Services prior to the physical installation of the devices and verify that there is no visible damage to any of the equipment and that all necessary equipment is accounted for.   If any damage is discovered, or if any equipment is missing the CONTRACTOR shall immediately contact the Project Manager for a resolution.

    PHASE 2: Installation

The CONTRACTOR shall install the Indoor Flow Sensor according to the specifications and instructions provided, and in the location identified in the Site Assessment Form provided by the Project Manager.  The installation shall be completed in a professional manner.  There shall be no loose or unsecured wires. Wire that is installed between the Indoor Flow Sensor and the WaterCompass gateway shall be secured with appropriate clips or wire ties.  All wire connections shall be made with the specified wire connectors, and in appropriate junction boxes.  The CONTRACTOR shall verify that the flow sensor is reading flow.

The CONTRACTOR shall install the WaterCompass Gateway according the specifications and instructions provided.  The gateway enclosure shall be securely mounted to a wall and connected to an appropriate power source.  All wire connections shall be made using specified wire connectors and in appropriate junction boxes.  In most cases, the gateway will be able to connect to the cellular network without the need for an externally mounted antenna.  However, if external antennas are required, coaxial cables shall be secured to the wall with appropriate clips. External Antennas shall be installed in a location that will prevent tampering or vandalism.  It shall be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR to ensure that the gateway has adequate connection with the cellular network and shall be verified by the Project Manager.

The CONTRACTOR shall activate the Gateway according the instructions provided.  The CONTRACTOR shall connect the Indoor Flow Sensor to the Gateway and complete the configuration such that flow readings from the flow sensor are visible in the gateway.  The CONTRACTOR shall verify that the gateway is reading the same flow value as reported on the Indoor Flow Sensor.

    PHASE 3: Verification
