INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Verify that the controller is a WeatherTRAK OptiFlow XR, WeatherTRAK OptiFlow XR 2-Wire, WeatherTRAK ET Pro3 controller or WeatherTRAK ET Pro3 2-Wire controller. WeatherTRAK LC controllers are not compatible with OptiFlow.

1. Power down the controller.
2. Open the controller cabinet and remove the command module so you have access to the back of the module. You do not need to remove the ribbon cable.
3. Power down by removing 24 VAC power input plug.
4. Insert the OptiFlow Key into the USB port on the rear of the command module.
5. Power up, by inserting 24 VAC power input plug.
6. Replace the command module and tighten the screw.

The controller will beep while it restarts and automatically installs the OptiFlow firmware. After the installation, the controller pairs itself with the key. When the controller displays the main screen, the installation is complete. The upgrade may take up to 5 minutes.

7. Press RUN. The header row of the display screen indicates that the controller is enabled for OptiFlow (Adv Flow:Single).
8. Call 1-800-362-8774 to activate the OptiFlow Key.
9. Leave the key in the controller to maintain OptiFlow functionality. You now have access to the OptiFlow pages on the server.
 

TROUBLESHOOTING

INVALID KEY displays on the controller after installation.
If the OptiFlow Key was not successfully paired, the controller displays INVALID KEY on the screen. This can occur if the key was tampered with or if it was previously paired with a different controller. If this occurs, please contact HydroPoint Support (support@hydropoint.com or 800-362-8774)
